Tanzpreis für Anderson & Co.
Nachdem das Stuttgarter Ballett erst vor kurzem mit dem John-Cranko-Preis ausgezeichnet wurde, erhält (von links) nun Ballettintendant Reid Anderson (© Ulrich Beuttenmüller) am 11. Februar im Aalto-Theater Essen den Deutschen Tanzpreis; schließlich gelingt ihm beides bravourös: die Pflege des Cranko-Repertoires – und die Förderung des Neuen.
Die Träger des Deutschen Tanzpreis «Zukunft», seit letztem Jahr vom Deutschen Berufsverband für Tanzpädagogik und der Tanzstiftung Birgit Keil ausgelobt, stammen nicht eben zufällig sämtlich aus Stuttgart – was die Gala-Gestaltung des Abends entschieden vereinfacht. Am «Grand Pas de deux» beispielsweise sind alle drei Preisträger beteiligt: Christian Spuck (© Bettina Stöss) als hoffnungsvoller Choreograf, Jason Reilly (© Ulrich Beuttenmüller) und Alicia Amatriain (© Bernd Weißbrod) als Tänzer.
