Whoever says Dessau usually means Bauhaus. So it's no wonder that the ballet of the Anhaltisches Theater is participating in the centenary celebrations which will commemorate the relocation of the design school originally located in Weimar in 2026. Of course, on this occasion, and especially in light of the current political upheavals, not just any spectacle can be staged. Therefore, ballet director Stefano Giannetti has curated a coherent double program.
