December Dance
This year’s December Dance festival takes its motto from a Pina Bausch quote, which, while a bit of a cliché, still warms the heart: “Dance, dance, or we are lost!” For twelve days, artists from Europe, Asia, Australia, and Latin America will gather in the picturesque Flemish city, and the young Belgian scene will also be present—Bruges doesn’t just want to invite, it wants to create a space where dance is produced. The program includes pieces that touch on themes such as postcolonialism, artificial intelligence, and inclusion. With Adam Linder, Alexander Vantournhout, Pichet Klunchun, and others.
