Princess Madoki is currently riding a massive wave of success. No surprise, then, that the uncrowned royalty of the waacking scene is appearing in Paris—fittingly at the Grand Palais, where the "All World Waacking Battle" is taking place under her reign: more than a hundred contestants measuring their dance skills beneath the glass roof of this magnificent building. It is a discipline that originated in the queer African American and Latino communities and enjoys cult status. But this is just the prelude to the eclectic program of the, which features attractions such as Collectif XY’s acrobatic project Les Voyages – Expérience 36, Marco da Silva Ferreira’s Carcaça, and Diana Szeinblum’s Adentro!
