It can't be claimed that dance plays a negligible role in the online and social media world: podcasts, video portals, TikTok, and the like—movement and moving images can be found everywhere. And yet, one platform repeatedly stands out, including in our 24/25 yearbook survey: ARTE, the German-French cultural channel and media library. And with good reason, because the portal is a showcase for all forms of dance from hip-hop to ballet, from contemporary styles to ballroom. This diversity is the success factor that makes ARTE the most beautiful showroom for dance beyond the live stage.
