Nature
It's true, of course: times can be difficult, and right now, many things feel oppressive. Nevertheless, I notice how staying focused on meaningful work, connecting with other people, and holding on to goals helps me persevere. Nature plays an important role for me when I want to ground myself. Something as simple as a walk with my dog in a sun-drenched forest can help clear my head and put things back into perspective. Contact with my family and friends also gives me strength and energy—a laughter-filled conversation can completely change the mood of an entire day. A fun rehearsal in the studio, working on a role that means a lot to me: It's when I can switch off and immerse myself in something I love. In the end, it's small moments like these that build me up and help me move forward.
