The lights on the tree are out, the wrapping paper is thrown away, the Christmas cake devoured—no reason to be down in the dumps. On the contrary: between Christmas and New Year's, digital theater provides an energy boost, arriving in the form of Nederlands Dans Theater 2: The Edge of Things is the name of the acclaimed program featuring creations by Jermaine Spivey and Ethan Colangelo, as well as Alexander Ekman's Fit which the junior troupe from The Hague is sending out into the world. A powerful performance featuring contrasts like Spivey's Once... Never... and again... and Colangelo's entropy—young dance makers who are themselves up-and-coming and who choreograph for their peers.
