Dance performances in Switzerland, as in other countries, usually end with the audience's cheers. But in St. Gallen, the audience groans loudly: in regret that Kiyan Khoshoie's fabulous Time of my life is already over. The Swiss-Iranian choreographer's piece is a cure for brooding and self-pity, and dissolves the eternal fear of losing face simply through movement. Seven people meet in an empty space, initially unsure who or what to follow, and tug embarrassedly at their clothes. Until the music whips into their bodies, each of them finds their own dance and passes it on to the others.
