Individual beats, somewhere between sonar and heartbeat. Eight dancers stride, stroll, and stomp across the shimmering floor, their toes always first before the whole foot follows. At the end of each of the flowing, rolling movements, there is a jolt, a disruptive moment that lends these figures a robotic quality. Thus, this march continues to develop, becoming more varied, faster, more sophisticated, increasingly intertwining with and into each other, matching the increasingly complex sound mix of Rui Lima and Sérgio Martins.
