From Aschenbrödel to Dornröschen
Christmas is fairytale time. And usually that means Nutcracker all over the country. But this year, the whole world seems to be turning to the Brothers Grimm: Aschenbrödel in Cottbus, Munich, and Coburg (by Xenia Wiest, Karl Alfred Schreiner, and Marc McClain), plus a fresh take on Dornröschen in Düsseldorf, choreographed by Bridget Breiner (who presented a Cinderella in Ruß years ago).
