He was ahead of his time, stepping onto the stage long before non-normative bodies became part of the wider conversation. The dancer and choreographer Raimund Hoghe, who died in 2021, was one of the great figures of contemporary dance: an artist who made others shine, and himself as well. With Inscrit | Writing with the Body, the Deutsches Tanzarchiv dedicates a major exhibition to his life and work.
