The only German stop for the Tulsa Ballet from Oklahoma was the Bonn Opera House, where the three-part From Ballet to Broadway thrilled the audience. Founded in 1956, the company cultivates the Russian ballet tradition, but also has modern elements in its repertoire. With Classical Symphony, created by Ukrainian choreographer Yuri Possokhov in 2010 for the San Francisco Ballet, the troupe, led by artistic director Marcello Angelini, demonstrates its virtuosity.
