This could go spectacularly wrong: Dancers in close-up—literally. For the Greifswald Theater is one of those venues that has transformed into a massive construction site. Consequently, performances are taking place in the Kaisersaal of the adjacent Stadthalle— with no orchestra pit to separate the audience and the protagonists; instead, they find themselves in intimate proximity. For the ballet company, this means being observed from a mercilessly close range: every error, every wobble, every moment of uncertainty is instantly visible.
