The jungle is fascinating. The jungle is beautiful, mysterious, and exhausting. The jungle is dangerous; swamps lurk here, labyrinths, rabbit holes from which one can barely escape by one's own strength. And creatures that embrace and caress you, but suddenly tense their muscles and squeeze: constrictors, anacondas. Reut Shemesh sends the dance ensemble of the Stadttheater Gießen into the jungle of social media, into the self-promotion and self-curation that characterize platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
