Every two years, Germany’s independent dance scene presents a "best of" selection from its production portfolio. A jury determined what was on display in mid-March at the Tanzplattform Deutschland 2026 in Dresden Hellerau and the surrounding area.

The members of the Dresden State Operetta are sitting in the modernized Kraftwerk Mitte power plant—a completely fresh, new venue.
