DANCE!

Dancing makes you happy. This isn't a realization you have to travel to Bern for; it's something you understand immediately. But it's the basis from which the exhibition DANCE! at the Museum of Communication Bern is curated: the question of why we actually dance. "What makes us red-faced — what attracts, irritates, and inspires us about dancing people?" asks the show which understands dance as a global form of communication. And which also examines the threat to systems of order inherent in this communication, a threat that dance bans are trying to counter.
