Tanzplattform Deutschland
Tanzplattform Deutschland is not just any festival, but a self-reflection of the independent dance scene: Who are we, where do we come from, where do we want to go? The gathering takes place every two years in a different location; this year it's in Dresden, with Hellerau serving as the festival center. There's "Plattform Plus" (discussion formats, targeted networking, insights into artistic practices), but also, of course, an extensive performance program with 13 invited pieces, including works by Claire Cunningham, Eszter Salamon, and Kat Válastur. We will be reporting extensively. Performances take place in various theaters in Dresden and Hellerau, from 11 to 15 March.
