Lime green paper sculptures proliferate in the foyer of the Stuttgart Schauspielhaus: Very slowly, often in Kylián-esque mirror sculptures, three same-sex pairs of fauns awaken from their vegetative existence on the forest floor into a consciousness-filled wavering vertical. A forest would actually have been the more site-specific setting for Untamed; together with the visual artist Donna Volta, Martino Semenzato reflects on resilience in plants as well as in humans. Fabio Adorisio takes a faithful biographical approach to Franz Kafka in Oh Dear. He symbolizes Kafka's writing style in six midnight-blue ink drops and an androgynous character called "Die Verwandlung (Metamorphosis), who ultimately reveals only a bleeding heart, such as could belong to any poet.
