Holland Dance Festival
Congratulations: The biennial Holland Dance Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary with its 20th edition. Since 1987, The Hague has succeeded in presenting contemporary and avant-garde dance while simultaneously keeping an eye on established names and promising young talent. For the anniversary edition, companies such as Gauthier Dance, Kyle Abrahams A.I.M., and the Hofesh Shechter Company will be performing. Nederlands Dans Theater 1 will present Wildsong, a new choreography by Jan Martens, paired with Horses by Marcos Morau.
The premiere of Wildsong is on 4 February, the festival runs from 4 to 21 February; www.holland-dance.com
