Under the slogan "Shared Leadership in Dance", Hamburg-based choreographers Jenny Beyer, Antje Pfundtner, and Ursina Tossi have joined forces. An interview
What can I imagine "Shared Leadership in Dance" to be?
Jenny Beyer: It's a commitment to collaboration and sharing resources, knowledge, and work in dance. Until now, we were three independently working choreographers, even though we've known each other for a long time, of course. But we've now decided to work together for the next few years, and for that purpose, we've founded a GbR (civil law partnership). We're exploring: What are we together? How can we simultaneously maintain our individual artistic styles? What happens in the space between us? And what new things emerge there?
Antje Pfundtner: I always describe it in a slightly less romantic way. It's a model for changing structures, for proposing different models nationwide that many artists have long desired. Of course, collectives ...
